1, Cervical:  Immediately distal to the bulb to the entry point of the of the carotid canal

2, Ascending intrapetrous: From the entry point of the carotid canal to the origin of the CTymA,

3, Horizontal intrapetrous: Horizontal intrapetrous segment: from the origin of the CTymA to the origin of the mandibulovidian artery

4, Ascending foramen lacerum: From the origin of the mandibulovidian artery to the origin of the meningohypophyseal trunk

5, Horizontal intracavernous: from the origin of the meningohypophyseal trunk to the origin of the inferolateral trunk

6, Clinoid: from the origin of the inferolateral trunk to the origin of the OA

7, Termination:  Supraclinoid ICA segment: from the origin of the OA.
